Merge Requests for Quotation

• Select several requests for quotation in the list and choose Actions → Merge
• Choose the request that receives the lines; the others are cancelled with a link to it in the chatter
• Only requests with the same vendor, currency, payment terms, fiscal position, incoterm and dropship address are merged
• Source documents of all merged requests are kept

Transfer Lines to Another Vendor

• Transfer Lines on a request for quotation moves the selected lines to another request of any vendor, or to a new one
• Lines are moved, not copied: everything linked to them moves along
• For another vendor, taxes and prices are taken from that vendor; for the same vendor, the agreed prices stay
• Both requests record the transferred lines in the chatter; a request left without lines is cancelled

Analytics of Lines of the Same Product

• Blend analytics: lines of the same product, unit and price become one line; 10 units at Project A and 30 units at Project B give 40 units at 25% A and 75% B
• Keep analytics: lines become one only when their analytic distributions are equal; otherwise each keeps its own line
• A mandatory analytic plan stays at 100%, and shares are rounded so that every plan keeps its total
• The default mode is a company setting in Purchase → Configuration → Settings; every merge or transfer can change it

With Inventory

• Purchase Merge - Inventory is installed automatically with Inventory purchases
• Only requests delivered through the same operation type are merged
• Deliveries waiting for a combined line (make to order, replenishment) wait for the line that remains

How to Use

1. In Purchase → Configuration → Settings, choose the default for Merging RFQs.
2. To merge, select requests for quotation of one vendor in the list and choose Actions → Merge. Pick the request to merge into and the mode, then click Merge.
3. To transfer lines, open a request for quotation and click Transfer Lines. Choose the vendor, optionally an existing request of that vendor, switch on the lines to move and click Transfer.
